Ben Bernanke Testifies Before Congress

ERM Power Studies Building Power Station, Talking to Alcoa

ERM Power Ltd. (EPW) is studying the feasibility of building a 500 megawatt gas-fired power station at Portland in Victoria to support its growing retail sales in southern states. Managing Director Philip St Baker said ERM Power is holding “preliminary discussions” with Alcoa of Australia about establishing a peaking power station near the Portland Aluminium smelter, according to a regulatory filing.
