Polysilicon Spot Prices Dropped 1 Percent Last Week, BNEF Says

Nov. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Polysilicon, the raw material used to make most solar panels, dropped 1 percent last week, slower than the pace over the past few weeks, Bloomberg New Energy Finance data shows.

The cost of a kilogram of the material fell to $29.88 last week from $30.19 the previous week, the London-based research group said today. Prices have been falling more than 4 percent each week since September and are down 60 percent this year.
