SIIC Buys 100,000 Metric Tons of Raw Sugar From Vitol, Bunge
Sugar and Integrated Industries Co., an Egyptian state-run food company, bought a total of 100,000 metric tons of raw sugar for arrival in January and February, Hussein Ahmed, a company purchasing manager, said.
The company, also known as SIIC, purchased a 50,000-metric ton cargo from Vitol SA and a similar amount from Bunge Ltd., both at $614.30 a ton, including insurance and freight, Ahmed said by phone in Cairo.
