KfW Loans Help Finance 11 Billion Euros of Renewable Investments

KfW Group, a German state-owned lender, said its loans helped finance 11 billion euros ($14.8 billion) of renewable-energy investments in the country in 2010.

KfW funds contributed to 41.5 percent of German renewable investments, up about 7 percentage points from 2009, the bank said in a statement, citing a study commissioned from the Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Wuerttemberg.
