Iran Summons Bahrain Diplomat, Protests Terror Claim, Fars Says

Iran’s Foreign Ministry summoned a senior Bahraini diplomat after the island country accused Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps of having ties to an alleged terror cell that had planned to target installations in Bahrain, the state-run Fars news agency reported.

Bahrain’s claims were “baseless,” Fars cited Hossein Kamalian, the ministry’s director for Persian Gulf affairs, as saying during the meeting yesterday.
