Foxconn Won’t Reduce Its Workforce Next Year, Gou Says

Foxconn Technology Group won’t cut jobs next year in response to uncertainties in the global economy, Chairman Terry Gou said in an internal meeting in Shenzhen, China, according to a report by state-run Xinhua News Agency.

Foxconn will make 300,000 robots in 2012 as the company boosts automation in manufacturing, Gou said, according to the report.
