Keith Ludeman, the former chief executive officer of Go-Ahead Group Plc, is a candidate to be chairman of Network Rail, the Independent on Sunday reported.
Ludeman, who is a non-executive director at Network Rail after retiring from Go-Ahead in July, was “potentially” interested in the role, the newspaper cited an unidentified person in the industry as saying. Short-listing for the role will take place early next year, with an announcement in spring, according to an unidentified Network Rail spokesman, the newspaper said.
