VW to Introduce Seat Brand in Southern China, Handelsblatt Says

Volkswagen AG (VOW) will introduce its Seat brand to southern China at a car show in Guangzhou next week, Handelsblatt reported today, citing an interview with Karl-Thomas Neumann, who heads the carmaker’s China operations.

Volkswagen will initially sell Seat models, which are made in Spain, through 15 dealers in China; that will be expanded later to 20, Neumann told the newspaper.
