Ukraine’s Kernel May Invest in Russia Plant, Kommersant Reports

Kernel Holding SA (KER), Ukraine’s biggest sunflower-oil producer, plans to invest $120 million in building or buying an oil-crushing plant in Russia, Kommersant-Ukraine reported, citing Chairman Andrey Verevskiy.

The plant will have capacity to process between 500,000 and 600,000 tons of sunflower seeds a year, the newspaper cited Verevskiy as saying.
