National Cement Kenya Gets $108 Million Plant Loan, Daily Says

Kenya Commercial Bank Ltd. (KNCB) and Standard Chartered Bank Plc’s Kenyan unit will provide a loan to National Cement Ltd. for it to set up a 10 billion-shilling ($108 million) clinker plant, Business Daily reported.

The plant will be commissioned at the end of 2012, the Nairobi-based newspaper said, citing Narendra Raval, the managing director of National Cement, a closely held company.
