A group opposing Cape Wind said donations are increasing after the proposed offshore power project in Massachusetts received a legal setback, the Boston Herald reported.
The Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound raised $1.8 million in 2010, and Audra Parker, the organization’s chief, said donations will rise again this year without giving a figure, the newspaper said today. A U.S. court ruled Oct. 28 that the Federal Aviation Administration must reconsider a study that found the wind farm poses no threat to planes.
