Exxon Preparing to Shut Antwerp Oil Refinery for Strike

Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) is preparing to halt units at its Antwerp oil refinery in Belgium on Nov. 18, Johan Scharpe, a company spokesman, said by telephone.
The refinery will be fully shut by Nov. 23, the date workers plan to strike, he said today. The plant has a crude processing capacity of about 307,000 barrels a day, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
