Solartron Shares Gain Most in a Year on Quarterly Profit

Solartron Pcl (SOLAR), a Thai maker of solar-energy equipment, climbed the most in more than a year in Bangkok trading after announcing net income of 37.9 million baht ($1.23 million) in the third quarter, from a net loss a year earlier.

The shares jumped 13 percent to 2.06 baht as of 10:10 a.m. local time, set for the steepest advance since Oct. 15, 2010.
