Spain’s 30-Year Bond Yield Rises to 6.72 Percent, Highest Rate on Record

Spanish government bonds slid, pushing the 30-year yield to the most on record, and the rate on two-year notes to the highest since June 2001.
The yield on 30-year Spanish debt climbed 23 basis points to 6.72 percent at 2:36 p.m. London time, the most since Bloomberg began collecting the data in 1998.
The two-year note yield jumped 23 basis points to 4.92 percent.
