Buffett Says Berkshire Has Bought About $10.7 Billion in IBM

Warren Buffett, chairman and chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK/A), said his company has bought about 64 million shares of IBM Corp. this year, mostly in the third quarter, at a cost of about $10.7 billion.

IBM has set out a “road map” for 2015 and has done an “incredible job,” Buffett said today in an interview on CNBC.

The company owns about 5.5 percent of IBM, Buffett said.
