Turkey’s benchmark ISE National 100 Index (XU100) dropped 0.7 percent to 55,764.76 at 3:56 p.m. Of the 100 shares on the index, 66 fell, 20 gained and 14 were unchanged. Trading resumed after a three-day holiday.
The following stocks were active.
Bagfas Bandirma Gubre Fabrikalari AS (BAGFS TI), a fertilizer producer, jumped 3.8 percent to 166 liras after reporting third-quarter profit rose to 22.6 million liras ($12.7 million) from 5.94 million liras a year earlier.
Dogan Yayin Holding AS (DYHOL) , Turkey’s largest media group, dropped 3.2 percent to 61 kurus after it reported a third-quarter loss of 233.7 million liras, compared with a 16.4 million lira profit in the same period a year earlier.
Koc Holding AS (KCHOL) , Turkey’s largest group of companies, dropped 2.2 percent to 6.10 liras. The holding company reported third-quarter profit fell to 498.4 million liras from 659.1 million liras in the same period last year.
Turkiye Is Bankasi (ISATR) AS, Turkey’s largest listed bank by assets, dropped 2.2 percent to 4.04 liras. The company’s third-quarter profit was 327.4 million liras, it said Nov. 4. Isbank was expected to earn 367.6 million liras, according to the average estimate of 12 analysts compiled by Bloomberg.
Tekfen Holding AS (TKFEN) , a builder, gained 1 percent to 5.90 liras after it reported third-quarter income of 53.9 million liras, better than the 34.3 million liras average estimate of 10 analysts on Bloomberg.
