Lukoil Orders $462 Million Caspian Oil Platform, Kommersant Says

OAO Lukoil, Russia’s second-largest oil producer, plans to sign a contract with United Shipbuilding Co. today to build an oil platform in the Caspian Sea, Kommersant reported, citing unidentified people familiar with the matter.

The contract is worth about 14 billion rubles ($462 million), the Moscow-based newspaper said.
