Emerging-Market Stocks Erase Drop as Energy Companies Rally on Higher Oil

Emerging-market stocks erased losses as higher oil prices boosted energy companies and investors awaited a vote on Italy’s budget.

The MSCI Emerging Markets Index rose less than 0.1 percent to 990.59 at 9:06 a.m. in London, after earlier falling more than 0.4 percent. Russia’s Micex Index gained 0.9 percent.
