Merkel Says Will Take a Decade to Recover From Debt Crisis

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that considering it has taken Europe decades to accumulate its debts, it will “certainly take a decade to get to a better position.”

For years, almost all European countries have spent more than they made, emphasizing the importance of introducing debt limits, Merkel said today on her weekly podcast.
