Aker to Consider Shutting Down Aker Clean Carbon Unit, DN Says

Aker ASA (AKER) may consider shutting down its carbon capture and storage unit, Aker Clean Carbon, due to a lack of full-scale projects, Dagens Naeringsliv said, citing Chief Executive Officer Oeyvind Eriksen.

A lack of government support and disagreement amongst energy companies has seen the market for the technology “disappear,” the executive told the Oslo-based newspaper.
