Trade between Zimbabwe and the U.S. rose 46 percent in the first eight months of 2011 compared with a year earlier.
The two countries traded goods worth $94 million during the period, Charles Ray, the U.S. ambassador to Zimbabwe, said in a statement on his embassy’s website. Bilateral trade grew 18 percent in 2010 compared with 2009, he said.
