Sri Lanka in Talks to Swap China Infrastructure Debt to Equity

Sri Lanka is in talks with China to convert loans, including that for the island’s first coal-fired power plant, into equity to help reduce repayment costs, Minister for International Monetary Cooperation Sarath Amunugama said in Colombo today.
