Sponda Shares Retreat in Helsinki After Earnings, Loan Pact

Sponda Oyj (SDA1V), Finland’s largest publicly traded real-estate company, fell 1.3 percent to 3.07 euros at the start of trading in Helsinki.

Sponda reported third-quarter net income of 18.6 million euros ($25.5 million), missing the 23.1 million-euro mean net- income estimate of six analysts surveyed by Bloomberg.

The Helsinki-based company also signed a syndicated credit agreement of 375 million euros and plans to use the loan to refinance existing loans that mature in 2012.
