Juncker Says Will Do Everything to Avoid Contagion in Euro Area

Luxembourg Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker said the euro region’s debt crisis isn’t only about Greece and measures will be taken to avoid conatgion.
“We have a resonsiblity for the euro region we have to face. It’s not only about Greece, it’s also about possible contagion dangers for others and we’ll do everything -- also on the occasion of the euro group meeting next Monday -- to build firewalls in a way that the euro region doesn’t start to slide,” Juncker said today on ZDF German television.
Juncker is also the chairman of a group of euro region finance ministers.
