Budget Office Says Few Canada Departments Detail Spending Cuts
Fewer than one quarter of government departments have said how they will implement a freeze on operating budgets imposed by the Canadian government, the country’s budget office said.
Only two departments have said how they will be affected by “strategic review” cuts in this year’s fiscal plan, the Parliamentary Budget Office said in a report posted on its website.
