Brazil Sells Part of NTN-F and LTN Bills Offered at Auction
The Brazilian government sold 550,000 out of 600,000 NTN-F notes offered at auction today and 5.26 million LTN bills out of 5.55 million offered, according to a preliminary statement posted on the Central Bank’s website.
The Brazilian government sold 250,000 NTN-F notes due 2021 to yield 11.5798 percent on average and 300,000 NTN-F due 2017 to yield 11.4543 percent on average, according to the statement.
The Treasury also sold 750,000 LTN bills due January 2015 to yield 11.1696 percent on average, 4.5 million LTN bills due January 2014 to yield 10.8172 percent on average and 10,000 LTN due April 2012 to yield 10.6848 percent on average, the Treasury said.
