Hungary Debt Chief to Succeed State Secretary Karman, MTI Says

Hungarian President Pal Schmitt will appoint Gyula Pleschinger, chief executive officer of the state debt management agency, as state secretary at the Economy Ministry on Nov. 3, state news service MTI said, citing the president’s office.

Pleschinger, whose appointment is valid as of Nov. 1, will succeed Andras Karman, who left his post to serve as deputy director at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, MTI said.
