Yankees Re-Sign General Manager Brian Cashman to Three-Year Contract

The New York Yankees re-signed General Manager Brian Cashman to a three-year contract, the team said in an e-mailed statement.

Cashman, 44, who started with the Major League Baseball team as a 19-year-old intern, has been with the club in his current role since 1998. His teams have won four World Series titles.
