Turkey Will End State Railway Monopoly Next Year, Vatan Says

Turkey will end the state monopoly on railway transport and allow commercial companies to carry passengers and freight next year, Vatan reported, citing a government policy document.

The government will reorganize Turkiye Cumhuriyeti Devlet Demiryollari, the state railway operator, next year, the newspaper said.
