Greek Ruling Party Majority Falls to 152 as Deputy Quits: NET

Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou’s majority in parliament fell to 152 out of 300 seats after one of his deputies declared herself independent, state- run NET Radio reported, without saying how it got the information.

The lawmaker, Milena Apostolaki, sent a letter to the Parliament Speaker declaring her intention to keep her parliament seat and vote as an independent, NET said.
