General Motors U.S. October Sales Rise 1.7%, Missing Estimate of 6.7% Gain

General Motors Co. (GM), the largest U.S. automaker, said its October U.S. vehicle sales rose 1.7 percent.
The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Bloomberg was for an increase of 6.7 percent. GM disclosed the sales result in a statement.
