Average Live Hog Prices in China Decline 2.8% on Week, NDRC Says

Average ex-warehouse prices for live hogs in China declined 2.8 percent to 18.19 yuan a kilogram on Oct. 26 from a week earlier, the National Development and Reform Commission said on its website today.
The average wholesale price of corn was unchanged and the hog-to-corn price ratio, a measure of pig-raising profitability, declined by 2.9 percent to 7.45, the economic planning agency said.
