Ukraine’s Inflation May Slow to 8.5% This Year, Shumylo Says

Ukraine’s inflation will slow to 8.5 percent this year and to 7.6 percent in 2012 “even should the government raise utility tariffs for households”, Ihor Shumylo, the head of economic department at the central bank, said today at a conference in Kiev.

Inflation was 9.1 percent last year.
