Merkel Says Any German Tax Cuts to Be Offset by Spending Cuts

Chancellor Angela Merkel said that any tax cuts in Germany will be offset by reductions in spending.

Merkel made her comments in a speech today to members of her Christian Democratic Union party in the Bavarian town of Deggendorf.
