Luzhkov Agrees to Police Questioning on Bank of Moscow, RIA Says
Yury Luzhkov, Moscow’s former mayor of 18 years, agreed to answer questions as a witness in a criminal probe into activities at the once city-owned Bank of Moscow while he was in office, RIA Novosti said today, citing his lawyer.
Genri Reznik, a lawyer for Luzhkov, said he was leaving on vacation and therefore his client wouldn’t be able to meet with investigators until Nov. 15, the state-run news service said.
