TAV, Celebi, Fraport Interested in Izmir Airport, Dunya Reports

Turkey’s biggest airport operator TAV Havalimanlari Holding AS (TAVHL) and construction, energy group Limak which operates Istanbul’s second airport with India’s GMR Infrastructure Ltd. (GMRI) may bid in a Nov. 17 auction for operating rights of terminals at Izmir airport, Dunya reported.

Turkey’s Celebi Holding which owns airport ground services company Celebi Hava Servisi AS (CLEBI) and Fraport AG which runs terminals at Antalya airport with Turkish builder IC Ictas are also interested in the government auction for domestic and international terminals at Adnan Menderes airport in the Aegean port city, Dunya said. TAV won operating rights for Izmir’s international terminal in an 2006 auction and will keep them until 2015, according to the Istanbul-based newspaper.
