Innkeepers USA Trust had the bankruptcy judge sign an approval order directing the parties to complete a $1 billion acquisition of 64 hotels, for reasons explained on the bankruptcy podcast with Bloomberg Law's Lee Pacchia and Bloomberg News bankruptcy columnist Bill Rochelle. The family of convicted fraudster Bernie Madoff isn't giving up as they vie for an accelerated appeal in hopes of winning dismissal of the $198 million lawsuit by the trustee liquidating Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities Inc.
