SPDR Gold Trust Holdings Increase 6.05 Metric Tons

Gold holdings in the SPDR Gold Trust, the biggest exchange-traded fund backed by bullion, increased 6.05 metric tons to 1,233.56 metric tons as of Oct. 24, according to figures on the company’s website.
Gold futures for December delivery rose $19.00, or 1.2 percent, to $1,655.10 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.
