SolarEdge Technologies Inc., an Israel-based maker of electronics for solar panels, raised $37 million to expand its manufacturing and sales efforts.
Norwest Venture Partners led the funding round, the Hod Hasharon-based company said today in a statement. Existing investors Opus Capital Venture Partners LP, Walden International Inc., Genesis Partners, Vertex Venture Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Electric Co.’s GE Energy Financial Services unit also participated. SolarEdge’s products manage the power moving through solar energy systems.
