EU Drug Regulator Recommends Approval of Bronchitol

A regulatory panel of the European Medicines Agency recommended approval of a marketing authorization for Pharmaxis Ltd. (PXS)’s Bronchitol drug for cystic fibrosis. The drug should be approved as an add-on to the best standard of care, the agency said in a website statement.
