Singapore Stocks: Jadason, Mapletree Logistics, Noble Group

Singapore’s Straits Times Index dropped 0.8 percent to 2,699.52 as of 12:22 p.m. local time. Eight stocks dropped for each that rose in the index of 30 companies.
The following shares were among the most active in the market. Stock symbols are in parentheses after the company names.
Commodity suppliers: The Thomson Reuters/Jefferies CRB Index, which tracks prices of 19 commodities ranging from copper to corn, slipped 1.3 percent in New York yesterday.
Noble Group Ltd. (NOBL) , a Hong Kong-based commodities supplier, dropped 1.8 percent to S$1.405. Olam International Ltd. (OLAM) , a Singapore-based trader of agricultural commodities, lost 0.8 percent to S$2.38.
Palm-oil producers: Crude palm-oil futures for January delivery fell as much as 2.4 percent in Kuala Lumpur today.
Golden Agri-Resources Ltd. (GGR) , the world’s second- biggest palm-oil producer by sales, slipped 2.4 percent to 61 Singapore cents. Wilmar International Ltd. (WIL) , the world’s largest palm-oil processor, lost 0.4 percent to S$5.04.
Jadason Enterprises Ltd. (JAD) , a supplier of raw materials used for circuit boards and semiconductors, slumped 7.7 percent to 6 Singapore cents. The company said it expects to report a third-quarter loss as it writes down inventory.
Mapletree Logistics Trust (MLT) , owner of warehouses and industrial properties in seven markets including China and Japan, climbed 1.8 percent to 86.5 Singapore cents. The company will announce third-quarter results after the close of market today.
