Impax Buys 100 MW of Wind Parks in France, Poland From Eolia

Impax Asset Management Group Plc (IPX) bought 100 megawatts of wind farms in France and Poland from Madrid-based Eolia Renovables, Eolia said in an e-mailed press release.
Impax, based in London, was advised by Norton Rose, Gomez, Acebo & Pombo and Ernst & Young. Eolia was advised by Garrigues and CGR Legal.
The portfolio includes operational projects and others in development in northern and western France and in Poland near the border with Germany.
“This deal allows us to advance our strategy of creating an arc of regional operations covering Troyes, Amiens and Poitiers in France,” Impax’s managing director Peter Rossbach said in the release.
