Texas Rangers Defeat Detroit Tigers 15-5 to Reach World Series

The Texas Rangers defeated the Detroit Tigers 15-5 to win the American League Championship Series and reach the World Series.

The Rangers, who had a nine-run third inning at their home park in Arlington, Texas, won the best-of-seven series four games to two. They will face the winner of the Milwaukee Brewers-St. Louis Cardinals series in the World Series..
