Trichet Says ‘Large Number’ of Issues Being Addressed at G-20

European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet said a “very large number of issues” were discussed by the G-20 in Paris.
The Paris Group of 20 meeting “has been particularly productive” Trichet said, after a meeting of central bankers and finance ministers from the Group of 20 nations in Paris today. He also said that the G-20 discussed global liquidity issues.
Trichet will retire and the end of the month. Italian central bank Governor Mario Draghi will replace him.
