Gazprom to Consider Resuming OGK-2’s Listing in London This Year

OAO Gazprom’s power unit will decide this year on whether to resume a London listing for its OGK-2 wholesale generator, Denis Fedorov, head of OOO Gazprom Energoholding.

“The listing doesn’t give us any phenomenal advantages,” Fedorov told reporters in Moscow. “We are ready to do it if our foriegn partners want us to.”

Fedorov said he plans to meet shareholders outside Russia next month and a decision may be made in December.

Gazprom plans to delist OGK-2 global depositary receipts from on about Nov. 1, after merging it with OGK-6, another wholesale generator, the utility said Oct. 3.
