Endurance Says Catastrophes Cost $99 Million in Third Quarter

Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd., the Bermuda-based provider of property and casualty insurance, said it will have third-quarter losses of about $99 million from catastrophes.
The total includes $41 million from reinsurance losses for regional insurance companies in the U.S. Midwest and losses from Hurricane Irene, the company said today in a statement distributed by Globe Newswire.
