PwC Names Andrew Sentance as Senior Economic Adviser

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP said it appointed former Bank of England policy maker Andrew Sentance as senior economic adviser.

Sentance will advise clients on how to adapt strategies to a changing macroeconomic environment, PwC said in an e-mailed statement today. He will start on Nov. 7.

Sentance, who left the central bank’s Monetary Policy Committee in May this year, “will contribute a wealth of knowledge and experience in bringing the most important economic issues to the fore, in both the business and policy context,” David Lancefield, head of PwC’s economics practice, said in a statement. “He represents a great addition to the economics practice.”
