Pfizer Signs Saudi Arabia Pharmaceutical Plant Deal, SPA Says

Pfizer Inc. (PFE) signed an agreement to open a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia, the official Saudi Press Agency said.

The plant will begin production in 2015 and will employ 200 people in King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh on the Red Sea coast, the Riyadh-based news service reported, without saying where it got the information. New York-based Pfizer signed the agreement with the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority, the news service said.
