Dane-Elec Memory, Gecina, Itesoft, LDC Might Move: French Equity Preview

The following is a list of companies whose shares may have unusual price changes in Paris. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are from the last close.

France’s benchmark CAC 40 Index rose 3.4 percent to 3,075.37. The SBF 120 Index gained 3.4 percent to 2,342.12.

Dane-Elec Memory (DAN) : The distributor of computer memory devices posted a widened first-quarter net loss of 2.9 million euros. The company said it has signed a new financing accord for the repayment of 14.6 million euros in debt. The company’s shares rose 5 percent to 42 cents.

Gecina SA (GFC) : The French real-estate investment company said it will focus on asset sales in residential property to help accelerate debt payments. The company’s board plans to speed up the payments to creditors by selling 500 million euros of residential real estate assets. The shares rose 5.2 percent to 67 euros.

Itesoft (ITE) : The software company said it had a first- half net loss of 330,000 euros, compared with a profit in the year-earlier period. The shares rose 8.1 percent to 2.14 euros.

LDC (LOUP) SA: The poultry processor said second-quarter revenue rose 9.1 percent to 655.2 million euros. The shares rose 0.4 percent to 70.29 euros.
