Bayer CropScience, Precision BioSciences Insert Gene Into Cotton

Bayer CropScience AG and Precision BioSciences Inc. have successfully inserted a gene into a specific location in cotton using Precision’s technology, Bayer said in an e-mailed statement today.
Bayer said it can now deliver more precise solutions sooner to farmers, adding that the deal triggered a milestone payment to Precision, the statement said, without giving further details of the payment.
